Pancakes


Baker's Dream Pancake Recipe

Give your simple breakfast a delicious twist by adding some vibrant strawberry or apricot jam on top!


Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour

  • 1 Cup Milk

  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)

  • ¼ tsp Salt

  • 1 Egg

  • 2 Tbsp Sugar

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 Tbsp Butter, melted


Method:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract (if using).

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter should be smooth and slightly runny.

  4. Heat a pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.

  5. Pour a small amount of batter onto the pan. Tilt the pan slightly to spread the batter into a thinner circle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 1-2 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 1 minute more.

  6. Serve warm with your favourite toppings!
