South African Baked Amasi-ng Custard Pudding!
Ingredients:
100g Butter
170g Caster Sugar
3 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla Essence
210g Baker's Dream All-Purpose Flour
¼ tsp Salt
2L Amasi (fermented milk)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla essence.
Sift the Baker's Dream All-Purpose Flour and salt together, then fold into the mixture.
Add amasi and mix until well combined.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set and golden brown.
Serve warm and enjoy!
